Jelsa's Artisan Scene 

OPG Lučić Essential Oils 

This family-operated agricultural business specializes in distilling the essence of Hvar's aromatic landscape. Their handcrafted essential oils capture the island's distinctive botanical character, from lavender and immortelle to rosemary and sage. In addition to oils, OPG produces ointments, soaps, and creams. All the products are tested and proven 100% natural.

PA-PE-LU Children's Clothing

A. Rechine Jewelry 

These handcrafted jewelry pieces incorporate elements inspired by Hvar's natural environment and maritime heritage. Using traditional metalworking techniques alongside contemporary design sensibilities, A. Rechine creates wearable art that serves as a lasting connection to the island.

Though their shop is located in Hvar Town, these master chocolatiers are proudly based in Jelsa, where they create extraordinary confections using traditional methods. Their chocolate bars incorporate unexpected island ingredients like lavender, olive oil, and local sea salt. 

While visiting their Hvar Town shop is worthwhile, you can sometimes find their products at select Jelsa shops and markets.

Stari Grad Artisans 

Za Pod Zub 

This treasure trove of island products serves as both shop and informal educational center about local food traditions. Beyond selling products, the knowledgeable proprietors share stories about production methods and traditional uses. 

Their thoughtfully assembled collection includes olive oils, wines, honeys, preserves, and dried herbs—each selected for authenticity and quality. 

Find them: Near Stari Grad's main square, identified by wine barrels flanking the entrance. 

Hag Made Cosmetics 

These handcrafted natural cosmetics transform Hvar's botanical bounty into skin-nourishing products. Using traditional knowledge of plant properties alongside contemporary formulation techniques, Hag Made creates effective skincare with minimal artificial ingredients. 

Their product line includes soaps, balms, oils, and creams that incorporate island-harvested ingredients like lavender, immortelle, and olive oil.
