Our "campus" at the Fontana Resort combines privacy and proximity. Accommodations, pick-up/drop-off, and our free coworking lounge are all within a few minutes’ walk. For remote workers, all units at Fontana contain a desk per bedroom. The beach is at your doorstep, along with hiking trails. A flat, paved path leads straight to the charming, vibrant town of Jelsa, less than 10-minutes away. Older children can safely go out on their own. All program-related transportation is provided.
Connecting Families
Field facilitates simple family outings for performances, local celebrations, art happenings, and other public events. The Field School emphasizes and facilitates community service, connecting parents with local farmers and other nonprofits where visitors can give something back during their travels.
Minimal Planning, Zero Stress
All Field families receive a travel guide to the island, a virtual orientation session, and a private call with each child’s Guide.
Families staying at the Fontana Resort have access to a 24/7 concierge for rentals, taxis, and similar needs.
For many families, The Field School experience offers plenty of recreation and activity, so the only additional costs are travel and groceries. Field also offers environmentally responsible and culturally rich travel experiences for parents and families at additional cost.
