A Hike through History
This hike begins in Velo Grablje, once a capital of lavender production in Europe. It is surrounded by the sprawling stone “mesh” of swales, dug out to cup lavender plants in precious water and soil.
The hike descends along a medieval cart path through a canyon to the abandoned agricultural town of Malo Grablje, where we will stop for lunch and exploration. The trail then continues through olive orchards, ending in the seafront village of Milna.
